Metrological Centre participates in metrological conference “Challenging issues of metrological provision of liquids and gases flow and quantity metering”

September 4-6, 2013 Federal State Unitary Enterprise “All-Russian Research Institute of Flow Metering”, supported by Federal agency for technical regulation and metrology, Ministry of energy of Russian Federation and Cabinet of Ministers of Republic of Tatarstan conducted a conference “Challenging issues of metrological provision of liquids and gases flow and quantity metering”.

Mr. Rostyslav Domnytskyi, Chief Metrologist at Metrological Centre participated in mentioned above event.

Conference program included:

  • plenary meetings with 28 keynote statements concerning analysis, actual condition and problems in sphere of oil, products, liquefied and natural gas metering as well as innovative metering technologies, upcoming development trends in metrology;
  • familiarization of participants with current State standards in sphere of liquids and gas flow metering;
  • new, perspective developments of standards in particular output standard for mass flow for gas-liquid mixtures, secondary standard for liquids’ mass and volumetric flow, advanced development of the State primary standard for gas flow;
  • sessions of Technical committee 024 “Metrological provision of hydrocarbons’ production and metering” Russian Federation and Technical committee 1.4 “Flow measurement” Euro-Asian cooperation of national metrological institutions (COOMET).
